Holiday Project #4 - Master Bed and Bath

It's still January so I can still post "after" pictures of our holiday projects.  The last bit of makeover for Dream House was the painting of the master bedroom and bathroom.  If you recall the pictures from the Old House, the bedroom and bathroom were painted "Silver Sage" by Restoration Hardware to match all the bedding and accessories.

If you recall from early pictures of Dream House, we did have the same bedding and accessories, but no Silver Sage.

So now we added back in the Silver Sage and everything is right with the world:

This part of the room still needs a 'lil help
 And the bathroom:

Thanks Mike the Painter, Restoration Hardware, and Benjamin Moore.  Couldn't have done it without you.

Kids' Redecorated Bedrooms!!

Holiday Projects 2 and 3 were painting and redesigning Baby A and Baby B's bedrooms.  Molly's Mom and Dad got them "new big boy rooms" for Christmas and Mr. Molly and I got each other the paint for Christmas (along with my awesome new laundry rack - which was originally supposed to be a 4th of July present).

I will start by saying these pictures ABSOLUTELY do NOT do the rooms justice.  You really have to see them in person to get the full visual effect.  Also, as you are viewing these please keep in mind the "before" pictures from the previous post.  In fact, go ahead and review those before you go any further.  I'll wait.

Ok, ready?

I give you Baby A's new room:

Sorry about the lighting on this one

What you can't really see with the pictures are the cool Chinese lanterns hanging from the ceiling, that the stars glow in the dark, and just the overall cool feel of being in there.

Here's a detail view of the paint and stars:
It seriously is such a major transformation.

And here is Baby B's room!  Notice the different bedspread, a dresser instead of bench, different shelves, and a different lantern configuration.  Again, the pictures just don't do it justice.

The window messes up the lighting

Isn't Molly's Mom amazing?  I can not believe that she could envision this in her head and just make it happen.  The boys LOVE their new rooms and are constantly pretending to take rocket ship trips to Disney World, going past the planets and stars on their way.

Thanks Molly's Mom and Dad!!!
